We celebrated the 3rd Sunday in Advent, Joy! And joy we had, as a special surprise visitor, Private Orin Gorton visited the class to thank the kids for the cards and prayers they sent while he was in Marine Corp Boot Camp. The kids had fun making their own St. Nicholas replicas and helped their younger prayer partners make one too. They learned about the symbols on Saint Nicholas's alb. Ask the kids what they mean! Most importantly, they learned how much St. Nicholas loved Jesus and to give to others in that same spirit.
